Help buying a car .

Hi everyone . My name is Paul . I don't even know how write a plea for help but i will do my best .
Single father of 14 year old son , wife past away 6 years ago . Me and my son were doing Ok until a few months ago when everything began going downhill . I had 2 jobs , but about 7 months ago I lost one of my jobs due to the pandemic , the business closed down . We were living on my one job and the little savings we had . Saving ran out quick , couldn't find another 2nd job and to make things worse about a week ago the engine on my car blew up . It's about $3000 to replace the engine , and I don't have the money to do it . My boss was really nice and said he's going to hold my job for 3 weeks for me , but I need to get a car ASAP . I feel bad for asking but I need help . I am not looking for a new car , just a dependable car to get back to work and venture out further from my home to look for a 2nd job . Any help would be extremely appreciated . Thank you all in advance for any help received .
