Help buy a home for my mom

To be honest, asking somebody for help has always been difficult for me because I have been taught that asking for anything is a sign of weakness. I’ve always managed to make do with what I had but this time it is unavoidable. But asking for help on somebody else’s behalf makes it a tiny bit easier. I’m asking for money to buy a home for my elderly mom. She is a 67 years old widow and she has never had a place of her own with her own kitchen and her own bathroom. She had been working her whole life for a plant that was supposed to but never provided her with a place of her own. Now her age and disabilities make it difficult for her to even step out and buy groceries. I am a grad student and a teacher. My salary doesn’t allow me to support my mother they way I would like to. Working full time barely allows me to put food on the table, pay rent and utility bills. But teaching has always been a dream of mine and I don’t want to give it up. The sum I am asking for will cover only half of the price but I plan to take out a mortgage to cover the rest. Taking a loan will put me in financial strain to make ends meet because the interest rates in my country are very high. So by asking for help here I am hoping to lessen the blow a little bit. I don’t have anyone else to fall back upon. I am hoping that I will be able to provide my mom with a home she deserves. Even a little bit of money will make a difference in my situation.
