Hi guys! Calligraphy Masters has been around for almost 2 years now. The first year, everything was mainly on our Facebook fan page, where it all started. In the beginning of the year, I launched the website, but it has been down a couple of times due to issues with the code or the servers. As you may have noticed, our website is not the fastest and it still has many issues. I've tried making forums and proper registration forms, but it's not that easy. Most of the issues have to do with our platform (Wordpress), which is nice but not enough for the future of Calligraphy Masters. You probably know how Facebook is showing fan page content to fewer and fewer people, which makes it extra hard to reach and inspire people.
I want to hire someone who will build the whole site and have everything running smoothly. I want to make the website a social network for calligraphers and lettering artists only, where they'll be able to show or sell their work, find calligraphy or lettering jobs, have contests (battles and tournaments), learn calligraphy... and many, many more things. It will bring artists together and allow them to discover, improve, and showcase their letters. This social network is nothing like any other network you've seen before; it's made by calligraphers with love and passion for other calligraphers, and those that wish to become one, too.
Our audience is now more than 50K+ on our social networks—most from Facebook(40K) and Instagram (10K). This shows me that people really like and need Calligraphy Masters (even though there are so many things keeping it from operating at its full potential). I have a lot of ideas for the world of calligraphy, but not all the resources to make them a reality. If only 1/5 of our followers donates just $1, the goal will be reached and very soon we'll be enjoying the upgraded website.
This
social network is the only thing that we as calligraphers and
letter-lovers need, and if you are someone who has been inspired or
helped by Calligraphy Masters in any way, now is the time for you to
help us in a big way with a very small donation.

The more I use computers, the more I miss and love doing calligraphy!! In a perfect world, the study and practice would be a required subject in schools world wide!! "Beautiful Writing" isn't just about this font, or that font, although that adds to the charm - it's also about the transmission of ideas, of thought, of dreams. I only recently discovered Calligraphy Masters and have been lurking around without really being as involved...but I don't want it to go away! So let's get involved!!
