Help us build a friendly Hostel

Hi guys, we are planning to build a hostel in Manila near the bus stations where they serve destinations going to famous Rice Terraces and Sagada, but right now there are no hostels in the area to serve the tourists. So, we had an idea to set up a hostel near the bus stations, of course we cannot buy a house but we are planning to rent it and set it up to a Hostel.

Why not in our own expense?

As much as we would love to do it on our own expense, but for now it is impossible. We have regular jobs in the government but they are not paying all of us employees right. They stashed almost 60% of our salary, none did wrong, but that is the directive of higher-ups for political reason. Now we only make USD300/month minus tax, not decent enough to make it in our day to day living. To make story short, new higher-ups new rules and stashed out salary. still waiting for their promise that they will give our salary back. Last year they did that too, but they broke their promise.

Meet our Team

Me and my 3 friends are doing everything to get back in our course, we believe that a minor setback is a major comeback. We are also bloggers, we pitch out from other hostels for collaborations or cross deals. We have one highly skilled french interpreter who can do video spiel of hostels and create subtitles for french speaking viewers/readers. We also have one of the highest photo contributor in google maps garnering 1M+ views and counting. We have our proof-reader in many articles and as for me, 2 of my articles were published in National Geographic's Himalayan Geographic. We are not yet fully established bloggers since we are just starting and we still have small followers but we are striving for it.

Hostel Idea/s

We would like to ask for your help in building a low budget but good facility hostel. We are planning to rent a house in España Manila and set it up as a hostel to cater foreigners/tourists specially when they are going to Batad or Rice Terraces since there are no hostels around public bus in España Manila. We researched few houses in certain websites and derived from the following estimates:

1,000 USD/month Rent of 4 bedroom apartment/house with a 1 month advance deposit (1,000 USD) and 3 months security deposit for us to move in (3,000 USD) total of 4,000USD before moving in

1,8000 USD for beds and other things which are needed like AC, Refrigerators and lockers

500USD for setting up business registrations, documents and mayor's permit

and 3,000 - 4,000 USD to continue for the next few months while waiting for the return of investment

Total = 6,300 USD

Benefits of a Donor/Contributor

If all goes well in our plan in our Hostel, donors/contributors will get a free stay in our hostel provided they present their ID's and a screenshot of their contribution in this site.
