Help build the hope

Each day our lives consist of rushing and worrying about materialistic things, such as money, car, clothes and etc. And most of us rarely think that there might be a family at risk of their kid being taken away by deadly disease.

Currently, there is only one Hospice in Lithuania (located in Vilnius), run by Sisters of Christ's Compassion, however only with limited amount of space for elders. There is no facilities for children. Over the years they've made an impact on hundreds, if not thousands, of people's lives. Give all they have to the patients, show Christ-like love and serve with open hearts - is the mission that Sisters daily follow.

For couple of years, it's been an idea to open a Hospice for children, which now we decided to bring to life and make it happen.

We are the Association of Polish Scouting in Lithuania. We have created a project called "The Tree of Hope", which now will be starting its second year of fundraising. Our mission is to raise money to build a proper building for kids with near-to-death disease, to give hope and a future to their families.

We are not only fundraising online, but also by organising such events as marathons, fairs, public events and etc., to raise as much money as possible for a good cause of saving lifes. Big amount of money is needed to build a hospice for kids, and we are asking for your help to raise that.

Last year, by organizing such small events and ending the project with a big concert, over the three months we have raised over €16 000. Obviously it's not enough to bring the vision completely to life. This year we want to raise even more, and we ask for your help to do so. We ask you to have open minds and open hearts; children and their familie need you.

100% of our proceeds will be given to the Hospice in Vilnius, so that the construction can start as soon as possible.
