Help build awareness for anxiety and depression

Depression is a serious mental illness. It destroys careers, relationships, families. It destroys lives. The anxiety and panic that comes with it makes it even unbearable.

Here in the Philippines, it's worse. In a country where tradition and religious beliefs are king, anxiety and depression are usually shrugged off as simply just "being sad". Majority of the Filipinos who have this illness, don't even know they have it.

"It's all in the mind". "Be a man, grow up". It doesn't help.

As someone who has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety back in 2012, I know how it feels like.

I was able to sum up enough courage to share my experiences via a website that I created. This website is intended to provide insight, help, and empower others who have depression.

This fund-raiser will help pay server expenses, developer fees, and other technical maintenance costs. It will be used to further develop additional website functionalities that can provide more help to others. I am also planning to get medical professionals to help with the content, which will also add to expenses.
