Help Build A Tiny Home

As a varsity student in 2016 I have come to learn a few hard truths.

Mainly that getting a degree doesn't guarantee you a job anymore. More and more students are leaving varsity only to enter a workspace that cannot accommodate us. With student loans knocking at the door a degree in you hands and family kicking you out the world suddenly becomes a very harsh place.

Now in general I have never been one to follow the crowd. I have enjoyed and suffered for being different. I have always seen things differently. And because of it I found myself here, crowdfunding for a tiny home, my solution to the big problem.

My goal is to build myself a tiny house that is big enough for me. A roof over my head that is totally off the grid will give me the ability to actually live. Many of us are renting/buying things we don't need chasing dreams we don't want and I have seen to many go down that road. I don't want to get lost in the rat race of paying off cars and homes that I never could afford anyway. So instead I want to build a tiny home. And be rent free. Then I can peruse my dreams and venture into business without worrying about where I'll sleep. Many people family include are very anxious that a Biochem and Microbiology student is throwing cation to the wind and running of into the sunset with a dream of Eco friendly alternative living. They are doubtful it will work and I feel are hoping it won't just so they can say "I told you so" and then ship me off to work in a lab.

This house I could save up for on my own but it would take years. I am a full time student and I tutor kids for extra money but I'm not making enough so that when I graduate (2018) I'll have enough to build my home none the less that won't stop me from trying.

It also won't stop me from asking for help. I know with funding I can make this happen. And prove to all the world that it can be done. Tiny living is the answer to the world current problems within the youth.

I have made a pledge to document and record this journey. To show others how I did it. And how they can too. I have promised that all those who donate will become part of my newsletters where I will talk about my plans going forward all the way until the house is complete and when it is done (those within reach) can come and see what they have helped me build... Those who can't I'll YouTube it don't worry.
