Help build a new country

My name is Karim Moumene and I'm a british expatriate living in Spain, I'm 23 years old and I have come up with a realistic and logical plan to create an independent state in the heart of Northern Europe. First of all let me give you some information on the proposed territory. There is an island for sale between the countries of Sweden and Denmark, and is a considerable 17 acres. The island now operates as a fully functioning resort and is in within an hour from two major European international airports and cities. Once I have purchased the island, I will ask the country that currently holds sovereignty of the island to hand it over to me as I will be the sole landowner. Then I will need 1,000 people to become citizens to stake our claim to being an independent state to the UN. My aim is for the state to be an off-shore tax free haven specialising in tourism, shopping and banking on the footsteps of Europe's most taxed and most expensive cities to live in. Only 20% of the island is built up and already the resort holds 980 people, with 80% of the island being open land this gives the opportunity for outside business and development. I will invite a selective few corporations to come to set up shop on the island and of course all citizen wether they are year round residents or just passport holders, they will be only be entitled to pay 2.5% tax on all properties and earnings. The figure of 2.5% will stand for the tax payable on absolutely every item in the state. How would I plan to run the state? I would declare the state an absolute monarchy because this would be quicker for us to be recognised as a country rather than setting up and forming a government. The island's main source of income is going to be tourism so I don't see a reason to have people at the top, that do nothing but spend your hard earned money, when you can have just one land owner to communicate with and one I have a vision of a peaceful and profitable project not just for me, not for Europe but for the entire world to come and get involved. This will generate a lot of jobs, jobs which will be first offered to citizens, as well as housing before being offered to other nationalities. You will not have to take a full time residence in the state and you will be able to keep your current citizenship as well. Once the 1,000 population is filled we will cap migration. And review the situation 10 years down the line. I am a long way off from making this vision a reality but with the help and support of you, we can really step forward and put the wheels in motion.
