Help Build A Home…

As a student in 2016 my biggest fear is graduating and not finding a job. Regardless of the fact I would be holding a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology at the end of the day the world is in crisis and I won't be assured a job...

With that in mind I decided I needed to find a way to exist outside these limitations that I can't control and decided the best option for me would be to build a tiny house while I'm still in school. With a Tiny house under my wing I can not worry about affording a place to stay or rent. I can have a minimal ecological footprint (being eco friendly is a huge thing for me I'm trying to avoid buying cars in my future because of the emmissions).

With this roof over my head I can worry less about finding a pay check to pay rent for space I don't really need and use my skills an knowledge to actually make a change and not get caught up in the rat race. I have dreams of taking my tiny house across the country showing others that living tiny can be done. That you don't have to be in dept to own your own home. My generation me included are riddled with debt from the start. University fees are on the rise and it is costing a fortune that I can't already afford and that only gives me a moderate chance at finding employment.

All that said I'm trying to raise the funds to build a tiny home. With the work I do as a Tutor it will take me 5 years to save the money. Tiny homes are cheap compared to houses but still way out of reach for a student like me.

So I'm asking for donations to build this home. This is a journey I will be documenting because I believe it can be done and that the world will hear me. I have a FB page (Project Zanai: Two Girls, Two Pods) up and running and once I have the funds I'll be making videos so the world can see that it can be done.

I'm hoping to have a tiny home by June/July 2017 (fingers and toes crossed) and I can make it happen with your help.
