Hallo.My name is Jane. I first met Steve (not his real name) at his mother's funeral at our rural home in Machakos county, Kenya. Steve was only a few months old then. His mother, a single parent of four had spend only three days at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi, before she succumbed to injuries due to a rape ordeal. She was mentally handicapped. Three of Steves' siblings are also mentally handicapped. Steve is the normal one in the family. However, one of steves' brother passed on last year through a tragic accident. I and my husband have since taken up Steves' education and he is currently a class one pupil in a boarding primary school, the rest of the children are in an approved school. God is using me and my husband to help these children We would like to build them a home
