Campaign Story
Bryan Ndlovu has been battling health issues for most of his life. He was diagnosed with asthma at a young age and then diagnosed with meningitis at age seven.
At age 13 he was diagnosed with chronic lung disease. He then had struggles with depression. At age 21 Bryan
suffered a kidney infection and by the age of 23 he became reliant on home oxygen due to the damage to his lungs. Bryan is now 26 years old and is fighting heart failure.
Despite all these setbacks in 2015 Bryan founded the non-profit Community Development Foundation JYB where he dedicates his time and energy to giving back to young people who need help and assistance whilst growing up.
Learn more here: www.jybnonprofit.co.za The work Bryan does at JYB keeps him motivated but he still relies on support from his family and social network. This includes his doctor, Dr Kay Mahomed from Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg, who does so much to make life for Bryan and others like him more bearable.
Bryan would dearly love to be able to travel and engage more fully with the projects and people he is so passionate about. This is often not possible due to the heavy machine Bryan needs to help with his
lung condition.
He is in need of a Portable Oxygen Concentrator so that he can continue to bring all his energies to the work he does with JYB.
We are looking for donations to fund the R36,000 cost of this life changing machine and madical cost .
