Campaign Story
My pet rabbit, Coco has been hospitalised at the vets’ clinic since 31 July 18. She’s been infected with a dental disease that led to abscesses on both sides of her cheeks and chin and she had to have several procedures under general anaesthesia to remove her infected teeth and the abscess.
This is not the first time she’s been under the knife. Just a couple of months ago, she had to go through a surgery under GA to extract 2 overgrown teeth.
Pre operations checks showed everything to be positive but things took a turn for the worse after the operation. She now has developed a parasitic infection that has spread to her bloodstream and vets have told us that she's in a critical stage. We are praying very hard for Coco and we are confident that she is a fighter who will pull through.
I’m currently seeking funds for Coco's hospitalisation as it is increasing daily while she’s kept in round the clock watch at the clinic.
We have already paid a few thousands for her pre surgery scans, surgery as well as the initial hospitalization but now we are facing a shortfall with the ever increasing fees that we would need to pay the clinic in the coming days.
Coco is the darling of my family since we brought her home from an adoption drive held by a bunny welfare organization. Thought it would take awhile for my elderly parents to get used to her but they got attached to her in no time. My dad, especially, calls for her instead of anyone else every time he returns home and she would actually run to him for head rubs in exchange for kisses!
Coco also loves to keep my mum company when she takes her naps or does her reading, hopping over to lie down close to her to enjoy my mum’s gentle stroking. Most of all, she never fails to light up my day at the end of every hectic day I face at work, kissing and licking my face when I go over to her chilling spot.
No words would be able to describe how thankful I would be for any help you can provide to help us with funds to bring Coco home. Every cent will be very much appreciated and put to good use for the well being of Coco. Help me bring Coco home, healthy.

Binky free, Coco baby
Update posted by Azimah Begam at 04:05 amI am extremely saddened to update that our darling Coco has passed away on 6th August, 2018. It came as a complete shock to us as we were told that she was making slight progress throughout her stay in the clinic. Her fighting spirit was also apparent whenever we visited. . . . .
August 4, 2018. 4 days after surgery
Update posted by Azimah Begam at 03:33 amWent to visit Coco with some of my family members. She seemed to look slightly brighter than the day before. Vet told us that her hind legs are splaying, perhaps due to the infection. So Coco was unable to move around and she was lying down flat on her chest.
