Help brighten my future

I am a well-talented young lady and the first child of three children. Due to my academic and sporting prowess, I have been awarded a lot of certificates and honors during my school years. However, my family has struggled to put me through school and I’ve partly worked myself to make things happen since my dad is on pension and my mother has no job. It has however been my dream to study and play football in a university abroad in order to both earn a university degree and land a good job to help raise my two younger siblings. Fortunately I got admission into a university in Mississippi, USA and it seemed like my dream was coming to pass till I learnt that if I could raise $7,000 for at least one semester, I could attend school and convince the football coach I was worthy of a full scholarship for the remaining time. There was no way I could get that money from home but here was a dream and a great opportunity slipping by. I searched for grants and scholarships but I was too late on deadlines. Because of that, I couldn’t go in August 2017 as I was supposed to. However the school gave another chance for the spring semester, January 2018 and I just knew that second chances in life are but few so there is the need to grab this one whichever way I can. A cousin suggested this site and I decided to log on and appeal to anyone touched, anyone who once had a dream, anyone determined to teach the moral of giving to a younger generation to help me realize a dream, be motivated and one day, help somebody else’s dream to materialize.
