Campaign Story
I have been chosen to represent South Africa at the Unified Taekwondo World Championships in Brazil in August 2019.
Being a taekwondo instructor in a small town and a father of three little girls makes it really difficult for me to come up with the entry fees and flight tickets needed to travel to Brazil and Enter this prestigious event. The athletes attending are of an extremely high caliber, I am however prepared and training as we speak, to ultimately hold a podium position. I am 33 years of age and shall be fighting in the senior black belt division 18 to 35 years, this being the main event of the Championship.I am also entered into patterns and power breaking.
This is the first time I have been chosen to represent my country and would love the opportunity to see how I fair against the worlds best.I have been doing Taekwondo since the age of 18 and eventually all of the hard work has paid off.
I thank you for taking the time to read my insert and I would be eternally grateful for any donation towards me attending this event no matter how small of a donation every little bit helps.
Funds raised over the amount needed will be donated to our local childrens home and animal shelter.
