Help Me buy a professional bassoon

Dolfin Benjáminnak hívnak, 23 éves fagottművész vagyok, Németországban tanulok Hannoverben és Münchenben. Zenész családban nőttem fel Budapesten és négy éves korom óta zenélek, fagottozni kilenc évesen kezdtem, nem sokkal ezután el is döntöttem hogy a zeneművészettel szeretnék foglalkozni.

Zeneiskolai éveim alatt három magyar országos versenyt sikerült megnyernem, amely további fejlődésre motivált. Később a zeneművészeti középiskolai tanulmányaim alatt nemzetközi versenyeken is nyertem díjakat, valamint két évig dolgoztam a Zuglói Filharmónia Szimfonikus zenekarban második fagott állásban. Egy évig a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetemen tanultam, ezután úgy döntöttem, hogy külföndön folytatom tovább egyetemi tanulmányaimat. Felvételt nyertem a Hannoveri Zeneművészeti Egyetemre Prof. Bogányi Bence fagott osztályába, jelenleg negyedik éve tanulok bachelor klasszikus fagott előadóművész szakon, idén teszem le a diplomámat. Németországi tanulmányaim során további versenyeredményeket értem el, legutóbbi sikerem a lengyelországi Michal Spisak Nemzetközi Versenyen elért első díj. Decemberben felvételt nyertem a Bajor Nemzeti Opera két éves akadémiai állására (Herrmann-Levi-Akademie) Münchenben, melyet februárban kezdek el.

További műfészi fejlődésemhez szükségem van egy saját, magas kvalitású professzionális fagottra ami illeszkedik a játékstílusomhoz és technikai szempontból is precízebb, könnyebben kezelhető, a hangszíne lágyabb, de szólisztikusabb. Eddigi tapasztalataim alapján a Yamaha cég YFG 812 típusú hangszere illik legjobban a stílusomhoz. A hangszer ára körülbelül 11 millió forint (30 000 euró), amelyet sajnos nem tudok megfizetni a tanulmányaim anyagi költségei miatt. A szüleim segítségével 10 ezer eurót sikerült összegyűjtenem, de mivel nagycsaládunk van és a többi testvérem is zeneművésznek tanul, több pénzt sajnos nem tudunk a hangszerre fordítani. A jelenlegi hangszeremet a Hannoveri Zeneművészeti Egyetemtől bérlem, de nemsokára vissza kell adnom.

Minden támogatást nagy hálával fogadok, remélem hogy a támogatásoknak köszönhetően hamarosan megvehetem a saját hangszeremet, amely nagy lépést jelentene a fejlődésemben!

Dear Supporters!

My name is Benjamin Dolfin, I am 23 years old and I am a hungarian bassoonist studying in Hannover and Münich in Germany. I was born into a family of musicians and I started playing music at the age of four. I have always thought about becoming a musician and I made my decision about it when I was nine years old.

During my music school studies I won three hungarian national competitions which motivated me to achieve more success in my musical studies. I continued learning bassoon in music gymnasium, and I have started competing in international competitions where I won several prizes. I worked in the Zugloi Filharmonia Symphonic Orchestra in Budapest as a second bassoonist, which has given me a good orchestral experience. I studied one year at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest with Prof. György Lakatos.

Since 2018 I am a student of the Hochschule für Music Theater und Medien Hannover in Germany in the bassoon class of professor Bence Bogányi. I am sutdying Bachelor of Music, and this year I am going to take my degree. In september I won the Michal Spisak International Competition in Poland and I also won two concert opportunities in Katowice and Kielce. I recently won the place of the Bayerische Staatsoper "Hermann-Levi-Akademie" in Münich.

For my further development I need a high quality professional instrument which fits my playing style and suits my technical needs. In my experiences so far the Yamaha YFG 812 type would be the perfect fit to my playing style. The price of this instrument is 30 000 € which I can not afford in addition to my studies. With the help of my parents I was able to collect 10 000 €, but because I come from a big family, and my three brothers are also learning as musicians, we can not afford more. At the moment I am renting an instrument from my school, but soon I will have to give it back. Thank you for your support and I hope that I will be able to buy my dream instrument which would help me take a big step in my music carrier.
