Help Becca brave her battle against permanent disability

Becca is one of the kindest you'll meet, she thinks of others over herself. Part of a family of seven, she took on the responsibility of a breadwinner at a very young age and prioritized their needs.

She is also a hardworking employee and gets along with anyone. However, as much as she'd want to work, she's unable to do so because of a health condition called 'slipped disc.'

A slipped disc is when a soft cushion of tissue between the bones in your spine pushes out. Her aches and pains started in 2016 but she was officially diagnosed with it last 2019. That same year, she received medical treatments such as back brace and epidural steroids, but, this was unsuccessful in curing the condition. Simple tasks like walking leads to extreme pain; her life has been put on hold by the illness.

But, Becca is hopeful.

Medical professionals recommend two operations that can cure slipped disc: a Laminotomy (estimated to cost P200,000) and Diskectomy (estimated to cost P400,000). The latter is preferred because it's a long-term solution and has a higher efficacy rate. Getting either one of these operations would mean that Becca can go back to living a normal life, and continue to provide for her family.
