The family and friends of Deepak are uniting to raise funds to help battle a brain tumor. Please shower your support!

A few days before New Year, widow mom Vijaya received unimaginable news. Her seven year old only son, Deepak, was diagnosed with an aggresive brain-stem tumor. This devastating cancer causes a vine-like tumor to spread throughout the brain-stem, in an area that controls vital body functions. This tumor is usually inoperable due to the location, and Deepak’s prognosis, unfortunately, is very poor.

Although the tumor is inoperable, it may respond to radiation and/or chemotherapy. Deepak will start treatment
immediately. A cure is not expected, but the medical treatments will likely extend Deepak’s life by months or
perhaps years. At least, they will improve his quality of life and promote comfort.

Although blessed with strength and spirit, the Vijaya family, Mom and her seven-year old son Deepak, face an
uncertain and trying future. In addition to the crushing emotional toll this diagnosis has placed on them, they
will suffer financially.

We are asking for your help. Through prayers and good wishes, we hope to share and lessen some of their
emotional burden. And through fundraising, we hope to alleviate some of the intense financial strain on the
single widow mother. Any amount would be most appreciated.

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
