Help Bali’s wildlife – volunteering in Bali

Hello! :)

My name is Tadeja and I'm a 25 years old nurse from Slovenia, but since I can remember I've always wanted to help animals also.
For a very long time I've been dreaming about travelling to some exotic places and see animals and places that can not be seen in my part of the world. AND THAN - I came across this wonderful website called 'Plan my gap year' where they offer amazing volunteering oppurtunities and my eyes started to shine ... But first I need to raise some money for the trip, because I have to cover volunteering fees, flights, visa, health insurance, vaccination, etc.

That's where I ask you for your HELP. Any penny will be worshipped from the bottom of my heart!

Indonesia is home to 100’s of different species of animals, many of which find themselves dispersed by deforestation while the country expands it’s exporting of goods like palm oil and rubber. Within the centre you will find a range of animals that were victims to poachers and traffickers. The primates and birds looked after have been rescued from markets, private homes and businesses where they were kept as pets or for entertainment purposes. PMGY has created a programme that allows you to work directly with endangered animals, giving them daily support and enrich their lives.

So I would be working directly with those poor animals, trying to enrich their lives by keeping them company, teaching them different things, preparing food for them and feeding them, care for them and keeping them and their enclosures clean and also doing some maintainance for the centre, such as repairing broken things, cleaning the place, etc.

I believe this would be amazing and a real DREAM COME TRUE. :)
