Help baby Zayn to start his life again.

Muntasir!

My name is Zayn and I am 14 months old.

On 27th September I went on a family holiday with my Mummy, Daddy and my Nana. Two days later I was a bit sick but the following morning I couldn't wake up. Mummy, Daddy and Nana took me straight to the hospital where there were lots of Doctors to look after me.

The Doctors took lots of blood from me and told Mummy and Daddy that they thought I had a viral infection but a few hours later they gave me an MRI and found that I had a big swelling around my brain and a big tumour which was bleeding. The Doctors said I had to go to another hospital straight away to have an operation to reduce the swelling so I was sent in a big Ambulance to Alicante.

The Doctors told Mummy and Daddy that the surgery went well but I was a very poorly boy and would need lots more surgery to make me better. Two days later I had another operation to put a shunt in my head into my tummy so I could fly home safely.

I'm still in the hospital with my Mummy and Daddy and my Grandad and my Nonna Rosa. Nana has gone home to sort lots of stuff out for when I get home.

When I get home the Doctors say I need to have another operation in Leeds to remove the tumour from my brain. I will need my Mummy and Daddy to be with me all the time as I'm only small and very scared.

Mummy and Daddy won't be able to go to work for a while and they are worried that they won't be able to keep up with their bills or afford to stay with me. If you can help Mummy and Daddy with anything at all I will promise to draw you a picture when I get better.
