Campaign Story
Baby Wayan is an 8 month old boy who is suffering from Encephalitis. He is the first baby of a young couple who have now been away from home for two months while their baby receives treatment.
He was almost ready to go home, after being discharged they were waiting for his first control appointment and now he has been readmitted and moved and back in high dependency.
Baby Wayan has been in hospital since he was 6 months old and still requires ongoing medical care.
Baby Wayan's parents have been on zero income for two months, as they have been unable to work.
We are raising money for food, drinks, away from home needs, nappies, surgical masks, baby formula and more. Unfortunately, apart from treatment, nothing else is available to this family from the hospital in terms of support.
