Help Baby #JhonneyBrave in his medical needs!

Who would have thought this jolly, adorable brave and lovely baby is hiding his pain in such a young age. Our own child suffers from birth until now and has a limited existence here on earth.

His name is Jhonney "Chim Chim" Lozada Rosare, One year old, born last March 20, 2018.

Last November 03, 2018 we admitted at the regular ward here at Philippine children medical center and treated as a case of pneumonia and titrated to oxygen support. My son referred to cardiac service for co mangement. He also referred to endrocrinology services for continuity of care for Congenital Hypothyroidsm. The medication continued. Then they noticed of episodes of wheezing, harsh breath sounds and retractions. We experience multiple transfers to treatment room due to respiratory distress. Had multiple episodes of desaturation even on mechanical ventilation and on IV antibiotics. Until Jhonney underwent of venous cut down ( December 4 ) due to difficulty of reinserting I.V.

My heart breaks seeing him like this.....he's been through lots of pain,test, limited amount of liquid feeding, blood transfusion. Our world turned upside down because of what's happening to our son. But we know that God has a purpose..and prayer, faith is our weapon...

Earlier this year January 2019, God answered our prayer. He had clinically improvement and was eventually weened in severe pneumonia, and no antibiotics support. He tried to extubate last Jan.30, 2019, but with straydor, desaturated and difficulty of breathing, hence, he reintubated again and he hooked on mechanical ventilator on SIMV mode with Low setting.

February 2019, on his 11 month old he continued his cardiac meds. While waiting on case presentation to Philippine Heart center for repeat cardiac cath and Open heart surgery.
March 2019 he need to repeat all the laboratory tests especially the HR CTS SCAN, the result has slight improvement. Cardio said that one of the reasons is that my son's heart is not operable😫😱😰 because Both of his lungs are totally damaged.😭😭😭

Multidisciplinary conference was done last march 27, the team doctors I.C.U,PULMO FELLOWS,RESIDENT DR'S, CARDIOLOGIST suggest that possible solution on Jhonney's case is Tracheostomy, as soon as possible. They said that We need to provide a mechanical ventilator with oxygen tank at home to sustain his breathing and to continued the medication for lungs and Heart.

We need to prepare the following :

⚫Continue home medication..etc.

That's why I am posting this, doing every way I can, we are emotionaly and financially drained since he admitted at NICU for 45days with hospital bill P400,000 (since birth)
then admitted to pcmc november 2018 up to present.
