Help Baby Ethan

Hello Friends,

I am humbly reaching out for my son's, Ethan Jace Zelig P. Eco, medical and healing expenses.

I've been in and out of the hospital due to bleeding and got admitted at VRP Medical Center Mandaluyong last November 15 because my bleeding won't stop. My OBGyne told me that its due to my low lying placenta and i'm having preterm labor. In order to prevent premature delivery, I need to stay in MICU so they can monitor me and my baby. On the 5th day of stay, Nov. 20, my water broke and they had to do an emergency C-section and Baby Ethan was born. My baby was only 31weeks and 5days old (1389 grams) and since he's premature, they need to put him in an incubator to monitor him (weight, breathing, food intake, phototherapy, blood culture, etc...) and to strengthen his organs. I was discharged last Nov. 22 but my baby have to stay at the hospital, Special Care Unit (SCU) because of his condition. His Pedia told us that, they still need to monitor him for at least 3 to 4 weeks or depending on his progress.

Despite the situation, we remain to have a strong faith in God. For his 3 days of stay in SCU, his bill has reached PHP 90,193. With our savings, we were able to pay the hospital bill for my delivery and his 3 days stay in SCU. But it is expected that a huge amount will be added as he stays longer in the hospital. The cost of feeling better can be pricey and it seems like the bill never stops. But we want to give our Baby Ethan the best care possible during and post hospitalization.

Since July 2019, I wasn't able to come to work due to my sensitive pregnancy and I don't have salary since then. We also don't have any other source of income. Unfortunately, we no longer have the means to pay our baby's upcoming bills and we are trying to do everything we can to improve his condition.

With this, I am knocking in your good hearts to help us raise funds to cover for Baby Ethan's medical expenses. Any amount that you can share will be greatly appreciated.
