Sweet little Cambria is the light of her parent's life. She is happy and giggly. At Cambria's 4 month well baby check up, her pediatrician noticed ''something odd'' in her abdomen. After a sonogram , a CT , a urine test and biopsy , her parents got the news...news that no parent ever wants to hear. Their 4 month old baby, Cambria , was officially diagnosed with cancer.

Cambria is now being seen at one of the best pediatric hospital in the country. Her oncologist said it's remarkable that her pediatrician even noticed the mass, as it's so small and it was just a normal checkup.

What Cambria has is called '' Neuroblastoma'' the most common infantile cancer, and one with no only high success rate, but one of the few cancers that spontaneously go into remission, and one of the few that is curable.Hers is near her left kidney, but NOT attached to any of the neighboring organs, which is an incredible blessing. Apperently most of the time this isn't caught until a child is showing symptoms- and even then a LOT of pediatricians don't know much about neuroblastomas, and it gets missed.

At this point, Cambria has no clue what is going on, she is a happy thriving , giggly little girl who thinks all these doctor appointments are great opportunities to grin at and get cooed over by more strangers. She's in no pain.

The next few weeks will be a series of tests and then eventually treatment, and they will be hard. Thankfully , she'll be too little to remember. That's the biggest thing..this will all just be a story we tell her. The oncologist keeps using the word ' cured' - which method will we use to cure this tiny baby girl. She's confident this will be '' gone for good''

How you can help :

First of all, pray . We know the Lord loves Cambria even more than we do, which feels almost impossible and seriously comforting.

Secondly, Donate. At just 4 months old , Cambria is sure to amass serious medical bills. We are not exactly sure of how much everything will cost after health insurance , but we know there will be a financial burden on the family. Her parents will also have to be out of work through some of her treatment  ( although they are working as much as possible in the meantime), and there are standard bills that will still need to be covered.

There's no other way to say it, this Sucks. But her parents have been blessed beyond understanding with all the things that have happened that increase Cambria's chances of being done with this as soon as possible , with as little pain as possible.

Please consider supporting the family.
