Update as of 06/17/2023
Rest In Peace, our beloved Aurora.

Before Mama passed, she wanted to thank everyone for praying for her, for donating to the fundraiser, and for keeping her in your thoughts. She definitely left an empty spot in our hearts, but we will keep her and her memories in our hearts forever.

Thank you for thinking of our family and for the prayers during this difficult time. The loving sympathy everyone has shown during this time is greatly appreciated.

Aurora's heart may have stopped beating on June 11th, 2023, but she lives on every single day because we will always remember her and how she fought cervical cancer fearlessly.

Update as of 06/11/2023

Our family will still be leaving this fundraiser open for Mama's burial to those who would still like to extend their help. We will be closing the fundraiser once Mama's buried.

We thank everyone for the support. Thank you for fighting alongside us.

Help Aurora Fight Cervical Cancer!

Dear friends,

We're reaching out to let you know that we're kicking off a fundraiser to help my mother, Aurora, fight cervical cancer.

You may have heard that my mom was diagnosed with Pulmonary Edema last year. According to the doctor, she most likely got it from a dirty environment. After a few months of her going in and out of hospitals, the fluids in her lungs have finally been drained, but other diseases showed up after that. A common form of cancer was diagnosed. Doctors told us that the cancerous tumour is stage 4B and they recommended chemotherapy and radiation treatment, but our family cannot afford everything. It will cost us more than P1M to pay for her hospital bills and treatment.

We all love Aurora because she is a gentle and kind soul who inspired so many people she met along the way. She worked a lot of jobs and often stayed overtime to help out a co-worker, for me and my younger brother have better education, put food on our table, and put a roof over our head, sacrificing precious time she could be spending with her family. After being diagnosed with cervical cancer, a few weeks later, she lost almost all of her energy. She used to be very cheerful and loved to dance to the music my dad always plays in his stereo.

The effects of this illness are devastating to the family, however. The prognosis, with the treatment and medicine, is a 59% percent survival rate, with a full recovery.

My family and I are finding more ways to earn money to cover all of her bills, but times have been really tough lately. I am honestly not the kind of person who asks for help, but knowing that my mom's life is at stake, I knew I had to do it. I've thought of launching a fundraiser to at least help ease the pain my mom is feeling and hopefully help her fully recover one day.

You can help by sending donations. Every donation will have an impact on my mom's life and will be used for her chemotherapy & radiation treatment, as well as for her hospital bills and other health needs.

Our family definitely appreciates all the help our mom receives. We will make sure to find ways to return your kindness and generosity and pay them forward to the less fortunate people who are also in need. You aiding my mom in her battle will mean the whole world not only to us, but most especially to her.

May God bless all of you always,
Audrey N.

Mama breathed her last after a brutal battle with pulmonary edema and cervical cancer. For us, she didn't lose the fight because she managed to spend 8 months with us after a bleak diagnosis. She fought until the very end and has now earned her wings. Mama was first diagnosed. . . . .

Our mom will be needing her weekly dialysis until her condition stabilizes for chemotherapy. According to the doctors, a weekly dialysis is needed as fluids are still building up in her body and if not removed, she won't be fit for chemotherapy treatment and her kidney won't be stable. We're

We need help...

Update posted by Audrey Notario at 12:59 pm

My dad and I talked last night regarding my mom. He suddenly asked me, "Do you think you're ready for the worst that might happen? What if your mom passed away?" Those words really made my heart sink. I know that her sickness is getting worse, but my mom really. . . . .
