Help Ate Mhy fund her hospital bills!

Our very funny and energetic Mylyn Salcedo or also known as "Ate Mhy" by her colleagues is badly in need for an operation. She was diagnosed to have Cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder) last February 2020. There were series of test that she went through and was advised to undergo surgery.

However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the enhanced community quarantine we had in Metro Manila, she had no choice but to delay her other test and operation. In this trying times, ate Mhy had lost her job as a messenger due to the retrenchment in her company.

She is a single mother who supports for her 7 children and their families. Two children are still undergoing school. With the recent events, she lost her medical coverage and can't avail on the necessary operation that she needs to undergo.

Because of the delay on her operation last February, she was advised to have the operation as soon as possible because the fear of her gallbladder might further increase in size and might rupture, which will cause a lot of complications such as sepsis.

She tried to talk to her doctors and lucky enough, they have agreed to place her under charity service in Capitol Medical Center. However, her doctor said there are still other fees that she needs to pay.

She needs to prepare at least Php 60,000 for her operation and might be adjusted depending on the type. She also needs at least Php 40,000 for her medications and daily needs after the operation.

Once she gets her necessary clearances and swab testing, she will undergo through either open cholecystectomy or laparoscopic cholecystectomy (removal on the gallbladder) in between the dates July 13 to 16, 2020.

As a previous colleague and friend, I humbly ask for your donation to help our Ate Mhy to have her operation so she can see her kids and grandchildren grow and live a happy life.
