Help Ashton Battle Kawasaki Disease

Hi there! I’m Ashton, and I’m a three-year-old little boy from Cavite, Philippines. My humble family describes me as an always-happy toddler who loves to laugh, play, and snuggle with Mama and Papa.

Nowadays, I’m unable to do the things that make me happy because I’ve fallen sick. Let me tell you what happened:

On August 14, 2018, I was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. It’s one of the leading causes of heart problems in children like me. You see, having Kawasaki disease means that blood vessels throughout my body have become inflamed. When left untreated, it can damage the vessels that carry blood to my heart. Yikes!

The good news is, Kawasaki disease IS treatable. Our superhero doctors have told us that as long as we follow the recommended treatments, I’ll be out of EAC Medical Center - Cavite in no time (yay!).
