Help Aren Heal

We don't always get to choose the form of the lessons life sends our way. Unfortunately, sometimes they show up in the form of a large truck on a dark street in Bali.

The Accident and Damage

Late at night on September 11th, Aren was riding home on his motorcycle when a truck suddenly drove in front of him, the collision was sudden and unavoidable.

He broke his elbow, shattered his right leg with an open break in his tibia with severe vascular and nerve damage, tore his left achilles and fractured the ankle in two spots, broke his pelvis, punctured his bladder, plus a light concussion ...along with a few "smaller" injuries. He's lucky to be alive, not paralyzed, and with all his limbs.

The worst damage is in his right leg, doctors fear he may need another surgery to repair the nerve as well as a tendon transplant. We hope alternative healing techniques and extra physiotherapy and the best diet and supplements can circumvent a 4th surgery.

Aren was in the best riding gear available and that's why he's alive, and not worse off.

Because it's Aren, there's a desire to make jokes and to make light of the situation, but the reality is he's in for a long, long recovery process, and it's not going to be easy.

Finances and healing time.

His insurance has covered a significant portion of the medical expenses but he's in a wheelchair and not able to do anything on his own, and won't be able to work for months, and that's being optimistic. He will need to learn to walk again, pending how his right leg heals.

Over $50,000 USD has been spent already and we project that it will take another $50,000 to get Aren to a functional place with an additional surgery all the rehabilitation and healing needed for him to walk again.

He will recover, but he will need help to do so.

The need for help.

Very few people on the planet are ready to take a physical and financial hit like this and while Aren was more prepared than most, he can't do this alone.

Anything you can give will go to Aren's recovery and will help our beloved friend get the necessary alternative healing help and get back to living a life of loving contribution. His insurance will not be covering the extended healing that needs to be done or lost income while he cannot function or focus on anything but healing.

Aren’s plan is to go internal, work deeply on himself, heal not only his physical body but so much more deep internal healing so he can come back a stronger human!

Who is this guy?

Impact entrepreneurship, giving from the heart, soul, and good karma, is what Aren's been about for years.

The stories of him as an ex-drug dealer, and conscious businessman with Bollywood good looks, are attention-grabbing but Aren's about so much more.

For the past 5 years, Aren's life had been a vehicle for transforming lives.

With his entrepreneurial projects, he has been funding a school for developmentally challenged children in the north of Bali, regularly visiting and lighting up the place with his infectious joy. He has been a driving force behind an initiative to give mattresses and bedding to over 400 families in Bali who otherwise would be sleeping on woven matting on hard floors. During the ongoing global pandemic when his own businesses were struggling due to the sudden stoppage in tourism to Bali, he helped coordinate food drives for local Balinese families who were even more dependant on the flow of tourists to make a living. He has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for others, changed lives, and literally saved lives.

This experience, Aren's drive, his passion, and purpose have been amplified. His resolve has been strengthened and he will come back even more powerfully than before, rippling goodness into the world.
