https://m.facebook.com/Lets-help-April-the-Rescued-Cat-with-Oral-Skin-Cancer-1608099679304783/ I just started a page for April to post up updates on her condition so that everyone can follow her progress. I visit April everyday without failed to talk to her and treat her with good quality wet food. Read my story on below, my journey to rescue a cat named April.

Three weeks ago, after a marathon, I went to my cousin’s place to take a shower and when i was about to leave her apartment for lunch, I saw a cat underneath my cousin’s car. Her face was filled with blood and she was very skinny. As a cat rescuer and lover, I always have cat food with me, I tried to lure her with the food so that I could catch her, however, she ran and hide. Her condition was totally heartbreaking and I couldn’t just leave her there. My 1st attempt failed, but I left food and water for her and vowed to come again the next day to get her. I posted up on my facebook account a pledge to get the public’s help to trap the badly injured cat, however, the mission failed as no one was willing to help me out. Two days passed by and I couldn’t get the cat out of my mind, I packed my stuff and went over to the location to get her. Again, my second attempt failed. She doesn’t trust humans, and hid herself and again, I left food and water for her. On the third time that I went was when God eased my way to rescue this feline. I managed to trap her less than 15 minutes, and she went straight into the carrier. Brought her to my normal vet clinic and it’s heartbreaking to know that the cat has been diagnosed with skin & oral cancer. I dont want to give up and I believe the cat deserves to live a quality life as she is still eating normally, pooing and peeing and still active despite having the critical disease. The cost to provide the cat a quality life is high and I need the public around the world to help me on this. She needs to be on an antibiotic jab every two weeks, radiation therapy, she has to be on a low carbo, high protein diet (Orijen for kibbles and Blue Wilderness for wet food), she needs to be sedated everytime to clean her or to jab her because she doesn’t trust humans that much and still is very feisty and to sedate her needs cost as well, and she needs to be boarded at the clinic for at least 3 months in which will take a lot of costs as the daily boarding is not cheap. And the next step is to transport her 325km away to a shelter to be taken care of in which that would also involves money for transporting her and the volunteer’s allowances. I pledge to everyone who share the same beliefs like me, to give a second chance to animals and saying no to putting down a life. She eats, she pees, she poops, she meows and she is still active, do help me out on this to save the cat’s life. She is named April as I believe this is the lucky month for her where she was finally found and rescued. She was exposed to the hot heaty sun that caused the skin cancer to develop. She has been living under the cars for God knows how long, and she has been eating out of the garbage area but now she is taken care of at a local veterinary clinic, eating well, no more eating garbage and being skinny. Please help April. Do a little bit of good, I believe in that.
