Help Anton fight Bone Marrow Failure !

Anton is a very calm and gentle litle boy, he was wanted and loved from the moment I found out he's going to be in my life. He was the type of child that I wished everyone had. Such a good baby, such a good, smart, funny, and loving child...

Everything changed when at the age of 2, Anton was diagnosed with a very rare type of blood disease. This quiet, hidden and horrible condition is called Aplastic Anemia, in translation it means Bone Marrow Failure. Without blood cells, his body cannot survive.

The cause of death for this disease is Infection (because the body doesnt have an immune system) and hemorrage (because of the lack of platelets). Any sudden move or silly fall, or simply being out in public or in open air, could be the trigger to something that no one wishes.

My son is currently undergoing an imunosupressive treatment, that is supposed to force his empty marrow to regenerate and produce blood cells.

Unfortunately, 7 months into the treatment, the rezults are zero. This means that he is completely exposed to the most dangerous factors : infections, hemorrage, and contacting other illnessed through his biweekly blood and platelets transfusions.

His only chance to survive this disease is a bone marrow transplant.

Our doctors managed to find 4 compatible donors, but unfortunately, all of them refused/are not able to donate the stem cells. They have the right to refuse, even if they are in the registry.

In Romania, Haplo transplants (half match donor transplant) are not possible because of the lack of technology and medication.

His chances are considerably higher at the Bambino Gesú hospital, in Rome, Italy, where children are treated by the best doctors in Europe, where a Haplo transplant from one of his parents would be possible.

The monthly cost is around 1500€ per month, and the treatments lasts for a year, if everything goes well.

Unfortunately, this is way above my posibilies, as a mother. My monthly budget is only 300€ per month. It would be impossible to make it through without people's help.
