63 year old Angelita Hayag was diagnosed with type II diabetes 18 years ago. Her health took a turn for the worst in 2014 when she was required to have dialysis three times a week (this is covered by Philhealth) the complications of her diabetes got worse when she was diagnosed with Renal Failure, Uremia and Enlarged heart. She was hospitalised yearly since diagnosed and was in the ICU last year. This year has been tough on her family and herself as she has been hospitalised at least 6 times including stays in the ICU. Her daughter Marianne, our good friend who was an OFW had to come home in July due to her delicate pregnancy, she herself has been in the hospital due to bleeding. Angelita is currently confined in the De La Salle medical center in a cavite and needs to have dialysis daily which is not covered by Philhealth. Their savings are running out and the hospital has stopped giving them the medicines as they Now have to buy it on their own. The family is trying to sell whatever they can to raise funds but they also need our help. Any amount would be of great assistance, prayers are also very much appreciated.
