My name is Andres Castro, I am 20 years old and I´m from Neiva, Colombia. I have been training since I was 11 years old to become a professional ballet dancer. My dream had always been to dance professionally in the U.S., in 2021 I took the first big step for my dance career, I was granted a full tution and housing scholarship to study at The Joffrey Academy of Dance in the city of Chicago, where I continue to train now.

This year I have the opportunity to enter the professional ballet world, I was offered to be part of the Orlando Ballet II for 23/24 season, I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity and It´s a dream that has come to reality.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to cover all my expenses to take this opportunity, such as, housing, tickets, security deposit for an apartment, among others, This is where any help would be a big support for me and the reason I am doing this fundraiser, the cost of the expenses is aroung $15.000, I am aware that I might not raise the full amount but I would greatly appreciate your kind support and generosity. Thank you for helping me realise my dreams!
