Help injured Monkey’s veterinary and care expenses in Koh Phangan

Please help! On December 15th 2022, we found a monkey that was hit by a car/motorcycle on the road heading to Haad Rin, Koh Phangan. As you can see, he was unable to move his hind legs and sat there with many cars/motorcycles passing by. People feed these monkeys on busy and dangerous roads and unfortunately this is what happens. Upon seeing this helpless monkey, we immediately searched for a local animal shelter and called PhaNgan Animal Care who referred us to Nanan Animal Sanctuary and then the Vet and Animal rescuer Julia & Pavel. We stayed next to the monkey to make sure he wouldn't get run over and hit again for about 2 hours then more helped arrived to help catch him with blankets and anesthesia. Another passerby, Alina, helped guide an ambulance to our location and the monkey was transported to the nearest clinic. As of right now, he is safe and will be treated with anti-inflammatory and antibiotics first but x-rays and blood test will be needed. Initial symptoms show broken legs and hip, but we will not know for sure until x-rays and test are done.
