Help an autistic medical student

My boyfriend was a health inspector in many provinces in Canada before he walked out of it due to stress and corruption that he witnessed in his offices. He has thus been blacklisted and unable to get any job for 10 years. He spent 1 year working on his medical thesis and the next 2 years on part time job like car washing and overnight shift at Walmart.

Life is not easy for him. He is autistics (shy, and react differently from an average person), got a lot of bad attention from his colleague because of his sensivity and high education. Then his ex-partner divorced and got his house. She was the breadwinner for 7 years so he thought it was fair for her to get the house. Little that he knew she was on a real estate debt and the bank went after him. He did not have the money to see a lawyer, but all he cared about was to go home for his father dying.

His father’s death finally snapped him. With $15000 left, he went back to school to study another major and that was when we met at school. Fast forward 2 years, he got 2 small scholarships and a casual job (4 out of 12 months) because he has no industry designation yet.

He applied for medical school overseas and got accepted using the thesis he wrote 9 years ago. The bank will only lend if he has a co-sponsor. Even then he has no way to pay interest along. I am a foreigner and not allowed to work nor stay in Canada.

It is not because I want him to make a lot of money in this career. He was shoveling the snow at his apartment, babysitting his neighbor’s children, moving furniture all for free. He has no ambition but an interest in medical research. In fact if he could study overseas, he would not be able to sponsor me, but I won’t be the barrier.

I once asked him why he did not publish his thesis but sending it out to other doctors for free. He said I should not be so self-fish. His father was a giver to the community. His thesis is very long containing of all controversial topics. Many have been proved, many is still ground-breaking. The fact that he has no Doctor defers his publishing it in science journal.

I beg you to sponsor this man. I admired what he did for his ex. I believe in his potential and genuity to bring goodness to society. Your generosity would help fulfilling a man's bucket list, he is into his 50’s now.
