Help an aspiring programmer

As the only child that is working to support my family of 4, I need to upgrade my skills set to obtain a job that is enough to provide for my family.

My father is a small business owner selling curtains. However, the reality is that we can no longer sustain the business as it has been in the reds for the past 1.5 years. My father has always loved the industry and always told me how lucky he is to be able to do something that he loves. As business gets worse by the day, I often see him worrying about how to make the ends meet and if he would have to resort to shutting down the business.

My mother spends most of her time helping him out in the business as much as she can. Unfortunately as they age, problems such as joint aches and illnesses such as diabetes began to plague my parents. It has grown increasingly difficult for them to sustain the shop without hiring any help which they simply don't have the budget for.

I lost my job last November and have been doing different part time jobs to help my family cope and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to have a chance at a programming job. Due to my education background, I do not have the required skill sets and programming workshops are simply too expensive. As such, I hope to seek your help to me out in this by funding the programming classes I need to attend to in order to stand a chance to improve my family's situation.
