Help an aspiring 3D artist get a computer

Hello everyone. I am a life long graphic artist, and have always been interested in expanding my abilities, and ultumately my career into the computer world in the form of 3D modeling, programming and editing for the purposes of both the independant film and gaming industry. I have the skills to use programs from photoshop to 3D Studio Max, but unfortunately not the hardware to support it all.

My current computer is on it's last legs, clocking in at close to 11 years old now, she's simply unable to keep up with the demands of today's fast moving software requirements.

Also having recently lost my job, and with the high costs of living these days I am currently unable to afford a new computer system.
