Help an Artist Family & Their Kitties Save Their Home

My name is Allegra and I'm a cat artist, single mom of one daughter, and mom to a mother cat and her 4 kittens.

For years, I made a humble living by selling my cat paintings on eBay, cleaning houses, and selling used furniture that I repainted. Anything to support my family while still remaining creative.

At least that used to be true.

I know that every month I have to sell a certain amount of my work ,and do enough cleaning gigs to survive and make rent. I got up at dawn to create new work and gave up on sleep.

In October ,everything came to a halt when I hurt my back. Even now, my back pain is constant and keeps me up at night. I feel like back pain has taken over my life.

It hurts to stand, walk, and do normal activities. I spend most of my time sleeping upright in an armchair.

What do you do when you have to work constantly to survive but you're in pain so you can't create enough to sell. I'm 3 months in the hole on rent and late fees and have been served with an eviction notice.

I can't start from zero again and have my family lose their home.

So I'm using my art to save my life. I'm giving away tiny cat paintings for tiny donations.

The minimum donation is $1.

In the event that we raise more than the goal, I'm going to the urgent clinic to see if anything can be done for my back.

If medical intervention helps my back I can find a more stable job to make sure that my family stays out of peril for good.
