Dear good people,
My name is Ammar Pašalić and I am 20 years old. I would be really grateful if you could support my fundraiser to study medicine in Graz, Austria and become a Doctor of Human Medicine one day. The thing is that I am currently studying Human Medicine in the University of Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I always wanted to study abroad but my parents and I could not afford that satisfaction. In the last year I`ve been trying to raise money with work, I`m a basketball referee and a singer and guitar player. So I`ve been really working my socks off while I study and go to my class too. Since I was 12 years old when I broke my femur on my basketball practice I knew I wanted to be a Doctor. I`ve been always doing activism and volunteering activites to help my local community and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am now a effective communication and public speaking educator and I am doing my job with helping young people like me or even younger to get rid of their fears of public speaking and trying to help the to socialise with the community.
So my entire life will and has been with only just one goal - to help people - through music, through education, through sports, etc... I really want to become one of the best Doctors in Europe one day and really help people. I will do anything to help the sick and I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm. I will not be ashamed to say "I do not know", neither will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient`s recovery. Above all, I don`t want to play being a God. I will remember that I remain a member of society and I will always prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.
AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ONE THING:
"Primum non nocere." (First do no harm)
Thank you for reading this, I will be always in your debt.
Sincerely yours Ammar.
