Help Ameerah get her life back.

My name is Ameerah, I recently found out that I need a cornea transplant. I was diagnosed with keretaconus 7 years ago but it has deteriorated so badly I have little to no clear vision left in my left eye. Which means I cannot even wear a contact on my left eye as the bulge has become to big. My right eye is also extremely weak but the priority is my left eye at the moment. I currently am a student and cannot afford to pay for the operation because the inability to see properly has made it difficult to have and keep a job. I have no way of taking out a loan as I have no way of paying the money back.

The operation privately will cost R50 000 but that is without any complications and with a local cornea . Fixing all the issues that arise after and where the cornea is sourced from adds more money to the amount.

I have applied at the state hospital for this operation but I am on a waiting list but that could take up to years because of the length of the waiting list. And because of the bad state of my eye my corneal specialist has advised that my cornea could rupture due to the thinning of it. So any donations will be dearly appreciated.
