Campaign Story
Thank you for your interest in our campaign.
Steve Morton is in his late 40s but remarkably he is still playing Rugby League on a regular basis.
Perhaps best known for playing for National Cup Winners Queens of Leeds and for the full British Rugby League Amateur team, Steve has also assisted a number of professional outfits including Leeds Rhinos.
He is at present helping Hunslet Hawks with conditioning and also works full time for the Council in an environmental role.
Steve competed with over 60 other veteran players - some of who were 10 years or more younger - yet has beaten off the competition to be selected for the British Amateur Rugby League over 35’s tour to the Dubai International Rugby Tournament.
He has to raise a considerable sum to pay for flights and accommodation.
Any help of sponsorship you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Please email [email protected] for details.
