Alina Kim, 2 years and 5 months old. In October 2019 they found retroperitonial space neuroblastoma, stage 4, high-risk group.
From then on, she went through a lot:
8 courses of intensive chemotherapy
it’s just a small part of a very complex way.
"Will not awake... If awakes, never recognises you... Eyesight is hurt because of ischemic stroke, blind... Vegetative state..."
Doctors gave that kind of prognostication, but Alina broke them all. She can see, she recognises her parents, who had been sitting next to her all days long while she was in coma, reading her books and singing her favourite songs.
She recognised their voices when she woke up, she recognised her elder brother. She did her best to start moving again and now she walks and dances! She can do everything a kid can do in her age.
June 11th, 2020 she went through high-doze chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. June 11th is a point zero of 100 day period, a period when immune therapy can be delivered on, can be conducted.
A necessary medication, Dinutuximab beta is actively used in Europe, but not registered in Russia, that is why we are forced to buy it on our own money.
The total cost of necessary quantity of the medication is 19,000,000 roubles or USD 250,000.
Fundraising in Russia in 2 months helped us to raise a small part - USD 90,000 and we're short of time. Oct 19 is a closing date. Alina is a cheerful, persistent and a sunshine girl. She wants to live. Please, help little Alina to win the victory in her struggle and get a chance for living. Help Alina to survive!
