Campaign Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This summer I plan to visit Sri Lanka to volunteer in a hospital and an orphanage with PMGY.
As many of you may or may not know, I hope to one day study medicine and become a Doctor, so obviously when this opportunity arose I was ready to get stuck in.
Sri Lanka, despite its beauty, only became a developing country in 2010 when it was declared that Sri Lanka was no longer underdeveloped, despite this massive achievement Sri Lanka is still extremely poor and is almost a different world to the one we live in.
This is an opportunity to make a change for a better Sri Lanka, which I hope to play a part in. Hopefully I can raise awareness of the mass developments needed, as well as make a small difference to the everyday lives of normal Sri Lankans.
My target is £1500, which I know is a great deal of money, but even the smallest donation will make a difference. So please share this page with your family and friends and don't forget to donate.
