Campaign Story
Alia has been an inspiration to so many people. At only 26 yrs old, she has overcome so much....she has beat addiction, lost 150lbs and moved to Las Vegas to build a new life.
In January, she was diagnosed with stage 4b uterine cancer that had spread throughout her body. The doctors told her she had only 3 months to live, maybe 6 if lucky. When she asked about treatment, the doctors told her it was no use. However, being the fighter she is, Alia insisted on treatment. In August, she was told that they could no longer see the cancer in her brain and that the rest throughout her body was either staying the same or getting smaller. Then in September she was in so much pain she couldn't even walk and had to quit work again. The cancer had spread to her other hip bone. She is continuing to receive chemo and will start radiation this week.
Alia is not giving up and is expecting to get better like she did before. She has already beat the doctor's prognosis and is still fighting 9 months later. Her outlook is still positive but she is starting to get stressed out about how to pay her bills. She needs help to pay her co-pays, to get her cbd medications, and to pay for food. This is no time for her to be worried about money and we want her to remain positive and beat this cancer. Any gift will help and we want everyone to keep believing in her!! Thank you.
