Dear reader, my name is Cody Hunter and this is my first (and hopefully last) time using GoGetFunding to bring an end to a mentally wrenching dilemma that has been with me for a little over a year now. Though, I am not the center of this dilemma, I am merely a supporting side-character in all of it. The one at the main center of this dilemma is my friend, Aida Hasanagic, one of the greatest people I have ever met.
Aida Hasanagic and her family live in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina and have been covered in guilt for quite some years, now, but lately things have taken a turn for the worst.
Aida lives together with her older sister, little niece and her cat and until a few weeks ago, she was the only one of the family who made a "stable" income of her entire family. The reason I put quotation marks between ''stable'' is because she was being paid per job as a Graphic Designer, but even then, the pay was little and the work was much. That was, until a while ago, when she had to leave the company together with many other of her collegues because the company she worked at was not even legally registered as an official company. Of course, one might tell her to just find a new job, and she is trying , very very hard. But to those who are not aware of it, Bosnia is a not too wealthy country with a poor economical standard since the civil war, and the unemployment is at nearly 42%. There is little foreign investment and a lot of Bosnians need to work abroad. Finding a job there is not easy. It is hard. Incredibly hard. Even more so for a job with a stable and profitable income.
Her older sister, Aisa, works for a tv production company and the pay itself is fairly good. The issue with her job is that she is also paid per job or whenever "the money comes rolling in" as her supervisor always used to say. Because of the negative criticism I place in this message, I cannot place the name of the company she works at in here due to legal issues. Aisa could receive a lot of trouble if I do so, and that is the last thing her family needs. Please understand.
She hasn't been paid for nearly six months and as a result, they already lost their home in the process and were forced to move to a new, cheaper home. I want to say that everything is good for now, but that simply isn't true. Her entire family is living on the edge and are only able to come by with what little savings they have left and by the kindness of her friends and peers, but eventually, both can only give so much until they are to run into financial trouble themselves.
To make matters even worse, Aida is forced to quit college at IUS because she cannot pay for her college fees any longer. Because of this, she must pay the University a cancelation sum of 3000 euros, which is an amount she cannot afford.
I myself have given her a fair amount of currency whenever she and her family fell short on paying the bills, but my savings are also beginning to deplete at a rate faster than I can replenish.
Now, you needn't worry about me. I can provide myself perfectly fine. As sad as I am to admit it, I cannot support an entire family with just my savings alone, and that is why I need your help, Aida and her family needs your help.
You can read more of her personal story on her deviantArt page for yourself if you would like. The link is right here. http://aidaluscious.deviantart.com/
I want to help her, many people do, but in a country as economically unstable as Bosnia, every one of her family members, friends and peers are struggling as it is. I can no longer support her in the way I used to, so now I am asking for the kindness of the people around the world who are willing to help her.
She is a kind of person that rarely asks support from others when things get rough and always tries to manage on her own to the best of her abilities. But there is a limit to how much a human can handle before your hope is really starting to vanish and she has reached that point. She had done all she could, she did everything in her power to manage this on her own and it simply wasn't enough. At this point, I believe it is more than justified to in the least ask people for their help. After these events, she had come to me for help, but as I am struggling myself as it is, this is the best I can do for her.
Aida might be hoping for a wonder, but I am not that kind of person. I prefer to help make that wonder happen and I hope whichever person reads this wall of text will feel the desire to aid me in creating a sustainable future for Aida Hasanagic and her family, starting with by paying off her rent, bills, guilt and school fees.
In the meantime, Aida will continue searching for a job, but so far, to no avail and time is running out fast.
If you feel the desire to help, please do so. Any donation of any size is welcome. I hope together with you, we will be able to raise a donation high enough to berid her of any and all rent, bills guilt and fees that have been looming over her family for far too long. I just wish her a happy and wealthy future and want her to be happy. I hope those who read this feel the same way.
If you have any questions regarding this dilemma that has been tearing down both friends and family, please feel free to ask me, or Aida on her deviantArt, anything.
Thank you for your time and thanks for reading.
