Help after divorce

I am asking you to help my friend. She is absolutely at her wits end. After many years of marriage and raising three lovely children, her husband left her for another woman. I have watched Ruth go from a self confident, happy lady to a shadow of her former self.

A few years ago she felt safe in the knowledge that she had a caring husband and her future was with him, safe and secure. Now she is in a position where after selling the family home with negative equity, and having to sell everything she owned including the family car to get through the transition period, instead of having a safe and secure retirement she has found herself in a small one bedroom rented flat with nothing to fill it and no money, no pension, and although she has taken a domestic position (the only one she can get with no qualifications as she was always there to raise her family) and works as many hours as she can get, it is still a constant daily struggle to pay her basic living expenses.

You may not be able to help, or you may not feel that this is a cause for you, but if you could find it in your heart to help this would mean the world. Ruth never ever thought she would find herself in this position and would never ask for charity, but I am asking on behalf of my friend. Please could you help.
