Campaign Story
i never ask for any favor from anybody but this time i have to.
im helping this doggo, Abuk, to raise funds for his operation. his owners say that the vet hasn’t yet made a proper diagnosis. he has a lump between his eyes that apparently secretes pus because of “sinusitis”.
the pus has reached his left eye. he’s eating alright, however, doesn’t have the energy to play. from the video below you can see he’s having trouble breathing. we don’t know how he feels and it just breaks my heart to see a sweet baby go through this.
his owners have 3 kids and lab tests and an operation would be costly for their family. they are residing in the Philippines and any amount would be of great help. if you guys couldn’t help monetarily, it would be great if you share this and help me spread awareness for Abuk.

Abuk's Scheduled for Operation

He's scheduled for an operation on August 26, 2019 9am Philippine Standard Time. The operation and tests (biospy, xray, another CBC) would cost $350-450. We can't say for now how much would it cost

Update posted by Priscilla Diaz at 02:37 pmAbuk’s results came in today:His WBC, granulocytes and monocytes are increased which indicates an infection. specifically, a bacterial infection. This means that his body is defending itself from the infection. His hematocrit is low which indicates dehydration. Good news is that his liver and kidney function tests are both normal.. . . . .

Update posted by Priscilla Diaz at 01:00 amHello, just an update: since we have raised enough money for Abuk's blood tests, his owner will be able to get him to the vet later today. These tests will determine whether he has an infection or not, and if he can proceed to an operation in a credible hospital.

Update posted by Priscilla Diaz at 03:30 amPS. If the donation exceeds his vet bills, the money will be donated to a local organization: PAWS (Philippines Animal welfare Society). They are also helping cats and dogs who don’t have a forever home. you can adopt their residents as well.
