Help abandoned dogs get the medical assistance they need

Hi ! My name is Melani, I am 22 years old and I am studying veterinary medicine in Vienna.

I want to start this project, because this December, me and my family visited my grandparents in a small town (Koprivniva) in Croatia. There we have a lot of stray dogs and just one animal shelter that takes care of all the abandoned dogs. That is why this year I decided to donate some stuff like blankets and toys to the shelter. I also played with the dogs and got to know them a little bit. Many of them have a horrible past and just want a new home.

The people who work there also told me, that they have enough food, but many dogs need an operation, like Pumpkin, who came to the shelter already with the broken leg and seems to manage life on three legs. They do not know if he is ever going to be adopted, that is why the operation is not urgently, so they will spend money on more urgent operations. Even if he probably will be able to walk on for legs again with an operation.

A lot of dogs are ill there and need medical supplies, which they cannot provide them, that is why they need you ! I want to help with everything I can, but I am still studying, so do not have the money they need.

I, and all the dogs there, would appreciate if you could help, even with 1 € and I will personally get the money there.
