My name is Kostas, and I am 23 years old. I just finished my Bachelor's in Psychology and I am looking to pursue my dream profession and become a psychotherapist.
When I was experiencing mental health issues, psychotherapy was of great help to me. However, I have also experienced a great deal of incompetence from the mental health system of my country, including professionals making discrimination against clients and professionals who didn't have any passion for their profession or concern for their patients.
I know, though, that therapy can make wonders, if it is done right, and with the help of a licensed and motivated expert.
I am confident that psychotherapy is the line of profession, where I can give back the help and kindness I have received, but the education fees are very high. Even so, I don't want to give up on my dream and vision.
I have set a very high goal on my fundraiser, that would cover my education fees completely. I don't think I will ever reach it, but every penny counts! If I can at least get the money for the trainings I want to apply for next year, I will be very grateful.
Thank you for your time. Best wishes to all of you!
P.S. Sharing this would be of great help!
