Campaign Story
Maria Luisa “Neng” S. Bondoc had been a public school teacher and a Department of Education supervisor for several years before she retired early this year. She was diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer January of last year, but even with her condition and her doctor’s advise, she still continued working because as for her, "it is her mission". She was ruled out "clean" mid of last year. Unfortunately, she had a relapse and the cancer came back more aggressive and she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer late last year.
Since December 23, 2017 up to this day, she is still in the hospital fighting for her life. She had undergone series of chemotherapy sessions but still requires immediate medical attention. Currently, she is experiencing immense weakness, hence, preventing her from moving let alone walking. Since she is unable to eat, her only source of nutrition is from the Nasogastic Intubation (NGT) inserted to her. Everyday she experiences supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) where her heart beats abnormally fast. Her doctors attached an oxygen tube to her to assist her in her breathing. This will still be a long journey of recovery for her.
Help Maria Luisa “Neng”, an educator, a reliable friend, a dedicated mother, and a loving wife combat this battle. She is a fighter who wishes to have a longer life to continue serving God and His people. Any financial assistance would greatly help in continuing her medication and hopefully prolong her life. God bless your generous heart.
