Help a talented vocalist

Dear friends,

I am here to help my gifted friend Varya who is struggling to continue her education. She is currently in her second year at the Yerevan State Conservatory, and her specialty is Vocal Arts. Every year she is taking a loan with 22% interest just to be able to pay for one academic year's fees which amount to 1600 dollars! She has a part time job in retail and makes some 200 dollars monthly (the average salary in Armenia is 300 dollars). In addition to her part-time job, she takes on occasional jobs to support her studies and meet her living expenses. She comes from a single parent family and her monthly salary is not even enough to cover her mother's and her daily expenses. Apart from being very talented, she is also a very hard-working individual committed to everything she is doing and achieving her dreams. She is also a devoted member of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is singing there every Sunday for the community members during liturgy. All her friends and colleagues know her as a very helpful and bright young lady, and it hurts to see how she struggles to fulfill her dream.

I decided to open this funding campaign in the hopes of ensuring she gets what she deserves and can achieve her dream completing her education. She is truly an amazing person, and I hope she will eventually be able to impress all of us with her talents. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Araks.
