Jamaica to Tokyo for Plone Conference 2018
TL;DR - Oshane Bailey is looking to attend the 2018 Plone Conference via crowdfunding.
In 2017, Oshane Bailey completed the Google Summer of Code programme for the Plone Foundation as a software developer aimed to make life easier for designers and theme editors by improving the Plone Theme Editor. He also was a speaker at the Plone Conference 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.
Now, he is aiming to attend and speak at the Plone Conference 2018 to demonstrate a suite of tools and techniques that Jamaicans are using to simplify the process of moving from an idea to a deployed product with Plone.
This campaign aims to raise a significant part of the roughly $2,950 USD needed to cover airfare, accommodation and more. Help Oshane, a young talented Software Developer to attend the Plone Conference 2018 in Tokyo Japan. He is really excited to participate this year, however, the cost of travelling is prohibitive.
